Wanderers Play Key Role in Blackrock JCT Victory

On Wednesday 21st March, nine of the Wanderers’ U.14 Metro Cup winning side of 2016 played a key part in helping Blackrock College win the Leinster Schools Junior Cup.It was great to see so many young Wanderers playing and performing at the very highest level of schools JCT rugby.
Blackrock won a tight contest against a strong St. Mary’s side at Donnybrook. The final score was 24-14, with 19 of Blackrock’s 24 points coming from our young Wanderers. Ben Brownlee and Max Patterson both scored tries, with Michael Moloney contributing an impressive 100% from the tee, with three conversions and a penalty. The future is bright……
